Every other Easter, Leeton is alive with the spirit and excitement of the Leeton SunRice Festival. This dynamic cultural event honors the important role played by the rice industry in our region.
The festival program has a unique diversity. Highlights include Leeton’s Longest lunch, the Street Parade, and Festival on Mountford. The festival culminates with the breathtaking MicrotechDPS Balloon Glow and the eagerly anticipated Ambassador Competition. We are proud to attract crowds up to 10,000 people every year. This turns our town into an exciting hub of joy and excitement.
The Leeton Sunrice Festival offers a family-oriented program, with many free activities. Tickets for the ticketed events are also affordable.
