Gordon joined NHS National Services Scotland in December 2019. He previously worked at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde where he held various procurement roles since 2001. Gordon led the national procurement response for COVID-19 during his first period in the new role. He is now focused on shaping National Procurement so that it can meet future challenges.Gordon began his career in 1986, as a graduate in the food industry. He then spent 10 year in the power sector before joining the NHS.His cocker spaniels, which are now a part of a family that is grown up, ensure that he and wife can continue to live an active life outdoors in their spare time. He enjoys sailing and caravanning with family and friends.National Procurement is part of the strategic business unit Procurement Commissioning and Facilities, which includes Business Development, Health Facilities Scotland, National Specialist and Screening Services, and National Specialist and Screening Services.
